The 10th Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade is a free, family friendly Halloween party for kids of all ages. This rain or shine event begins at 2:00 pm with trick or treating around the Aviation Park frog pond. Various decorated vehicles and props will be on display throughout the park for individual and/or group photo opportunities. A short walking parade of costumes starts at 3:00 pm, followed immediately by the judging ceremony. Awards for the Best In Show available for children ages 12 and under, 13 and over, and groups of two or more dressed in universally themed costumes. Those interested in participating can register on site at Aviation Park starting at 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 29, or pre-register online at obxentertainment.com/registration.
Halloween Daily News will document the entire event, with exclusive Parade highlights featured on the HDN YouTube channel, with over 79,000 subscribers around the world. Best In Show winners will each be interviewed and photographed by Halloween Daily News for a special feature on the YouTube channel.
Free public parking available for Parade participants, spectators, and attendees at the neighboring First Flight schools. After the Parade, attendees are invited to the annual Trick or Treat Night PTO charity event, starting at 4:00 p.m. at First Flight Elementary School.
