Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of our beloved Jockey’s Ridge State Park! Friends of Jockey’s Ridge is hosting a special event this year alongside the Killer Dunes 2-miler — a 1-mile COLOR Fun Run!

General Info

When: Friday, July 4th, 8 a.m. & 8:15 a.m.
What: 2-mile run dune run & 1-mile fun run
Where: Jockey’s Ridge State Park
Who: Ages 12+

Please Note: On-site parking is limited, so please carpool as much as possible on race morning.

Packet Pick-Up

Thursday, July 3rd, 3-6 p.m.
Jockey’s Ridge State Park

Please Note: There will be no packet pick-up on race day!

Course Info

The Killer Dunes 2-miler will be professionally timed by Precision Racing.

A water station will be near the mid-point of the course. Dare County EMS will be on-call.

While the exact course varies slightly from year to year based on vegetation changes, etc, markings and guides will be visible throughout.

Please Note: Strollers and pets not allowed.
