Dare County Airport 80th Anniversary Celebration

Plan to come for the 80th Anniversary Celebration of Dare County Airport, commemorating eight decades of aviation. Enjoy learning about the history of aviation through historical reenactments, vintage and modern aircraft, vintage cars and presentations. The event will host a variety of food trucks and vendors offering aviation memorabilia, crafts and local goods. See the event website for a complete schedule and list of presentations. Fly-ins are welcome. The Dare County Regional Airport does not have a tower and only has two runways, 5/23 and 17/35, approximately 4,306 and 3,303 feet long. 100LL, Jet A fuel, and major maintenance services are available, as well as parking and tie-downs.
