Earth Day Event and Plant Swap

The Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association is very excited for their 2023 Earth Day Event and Plant Swap. There will be booths set up from lots of wonderful community members and organizations. There will be a planting activity and seed ball making activity for kids to do. There will also be having a native plant giveaway alongside fun raffles and food available to purchase. Plus Plant Swap is returning. Love or want to try plants but have a limited budget? Want to try something new but unsure if it will live on Hatteras Island? Bring extra plants (trees, bushes, flowers, vegetables) for indoor or out to share and “swap” with others. Have extra bulbs, seed packets or live plants from a multi-pack? Those are welcome too! You don’t have to bring plants to participate.
