Manteo 4th of July Celebration

July 4 @ 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join the Town of Manteo for the Fourth of July Celebrations! The streets downtown are full of children and their families, neighbors and visitors alike joining in the festivities celebrating Independence Day. Festivities begin at 3:00 PM and with fireworks! The event kicks off with the singing of the National Anthem. Kid’s games and activities, decorated bike contest and parade (trike, scooter, and wagons welcome too), apple pie contest, food, and summer treats are more than enough reason to come on out and spend time with family, friends, and neighbors.  All those coming out to the festivities are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets or whatever seating scenario you find most comfy for a great afternoon and evening of music and yes – it all ends with FIREWORKS over the sound!

Riggsbee Road is back by popular demand to help celebrate the Fourth of July!  This all-female country and “new” grass band is always high-energy but their incredible harmonies are what takes them over the top!  Following behind them will be the Brickhouse Band playing classic R&B, Motown Funk and more.  DJ Mixin’ Mike will continue to bring some tunes afterwards in Creef Park while the Independence Day Concert starts up at Roanoke Island Festival Park at their scenic waterfront pavilion.  Dancing in the park was never so much fun!

There will be an Independence Day concert at Roanoke Island Festival Park at their scenic waterfront Pavilion! The concert is free and open to the public and features the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command Band.
