In June, The Dare County Arts Council Vault Gallery will feature paintings by Phyllis Wells. The month-long exhibit will showcase Phyllis’ love for the water and all things nautical. Her preferred medium is acrylic and she gravitates towards a tropical color palette. The colors turquoise and aqua are “burned into Phyllis’ brain” as well as a few other hot colors.
