The Holiday Chefs’ Challenge

Local Outer Banks Chefs compete for the title of “Prince or Princess of Canned Goods” and “Count or Countess of Confections” at this fun event for a wonderful cause hosted by Beach Food Pantry. The Holiday Chefs’ Challenge is a chance for locals and visitors to taste amazing creations from local chefs while also funding solutions to feed the most vulnerable among us – children, seniors and families in crisis. Each participating chef has 60 minutes to cook a dish using items that the Beach Food Pantry would normally keep in stock. At least one of the items used must be a canned good. Both judges and attendees vote for their favorite dishes.

Tickets are required for this event and include admission, the Chefs’ Creations, and drinks. There will also be an auction, a 50/50 raffle, and live music by Monte Hooker. General Admission is $100. Designated Drivers can purchase discounted tickers. Visit the event website for more information.
