Watercolors of Rural & Coastal Places

In November, The Dare County Arts Council vault will feature Watercolors of Rural & Coastal Places by Bobby Wiltshire. Living in the country of Virginia before retiring to the Outer Banks, Bobby had many opportunities to capture the natural beauty surrounding his home; rivers, streams, country roads, old houses, farm animals and simple living. Since retiring, he has more time to do what he loves, painting with watercolors. This exhibit showcases scenes of rural Virginia and the coastal life him and his wife Janet are now enjoying. Bobby finds inspiration at the ocean, sound, the old cottages (especially Cottage Row in Nags Head), sunsets, the wildlife and all the sweet towns along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
