The Town of Kill Devil Hills is proud to present the First Flight Farmers Markets. Featuring around 50 vendors offering a wide variety of goods from produce, sweet & savory treats, woodworking, photography, paintings, jewelry, candles, bath and body items and so much more. You’re sure to find one-of-a kind items for yourself and the entire family! The markets will be located at Aviation Park, 103 Veterans Drive. Parking is available at the park and overflow parking is available at the First Flight High School.
The First Flight Markets are held each Tuesday from June 18 through August 13 from 9 am – 1 pm.

Enjoy games, toy demos, and crafts for all ages at Kitty Hawk Kites Kids Days. The event recurs  every week from June 4 – August 2, 2024 at Duck, Nags Head, and Rodanthe locations from 10 am - 2 pm. See the event website for exact dates and locations.

These weekly program are part of the museum’s Salty Dawgs Lecture Series, which features a different presentation on North Carolina maritime history and culture each week. These programs are scheduled at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays from June 4 through Aug. 27 in the museum. Admission to the museum and lecture are free. See the event details for all program topics.
