Earth Fair OBX is a free, family-friendly celebration of Earth Day held at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head. The event brings together local Outer Banks organizations focused on environmental education and coastal conservation, offering interactive exhibits, educational displays, and hands-on activities for children. Visitors can explore booths, learn about protecting the region’s delicate ecosystems, and enjoy an afternoon of nature-focused fun while connecting with groups working to preserve the Outer Banks.

Join OBX Room In The Inn for the 3rd Annual Seaside Soirée on Friday, April 25 from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5353 N. Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk. This elegant coastal gathering is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year and helps ensure the continuation of vital services for neighbors experiencing homelessness across the Outer Banks.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed seaside atmosphere while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will directly fund the 2026–2027 shelter season, helping provide safe shelter, meals, and supportive services for members of the community in need. OBX Room In The Inn is the only shelter serving unhoused adults in Dare County, making community support especially important.

Attendees will also have the chance to participate in exciting silent and live auctions, featuring a variety of items and experiences donated by local businesses and supporters. Every ticket and contribution helps expand the organization’s ability to offer dignity, stability, and hope to those facing housing insecurity on the Outer Banks.
