Corolla Wildlife Horse Fund Fall Open House

Join the Corolla Wildlife Horse Fund on Saturday, October 12th from 10 am to 2 pm for Fall Open House at the Betsy Dowdy Equine Center! Visit the farm on the mainland in Grandy and meet the rescued Banker horses on the walking tour. Attend a free movie screening of The Secret of Corolla, a 32-minute documentary on the Banker mustangs, culture, and lifestyle of the island. There will be a Q & A directly following the documentary screening with the CWHF Director of Herd Management, Meg Puckett.
Suggested donation of $10 per vehicle at the gate, but not required.
You can also sponsor any horse that you meet at the farm! Sponsorship includes a photo and certificate and quarterly updates on your sponsored horse.
Local ceramics and pottery maker, Micheal Middleton will provide a pottery demonstration and raffle the pot he creates on site! Paintings by rescued Bankers, Corolla Wildlife Horse Fund shirts, hats, and other gifts will be available for purchase, in addition to a silent auction from local artists.
