Rotating Art Show: Wes Snyder

The Rotating Art Show will feature the photography of Wes Snyder as the newest exhibit in the Town of Duck. The exhibit will be on display Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. May 2 – July 24 in the first floor conference room of the Duck Town Hall. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, May 3 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. The exhibit is FREE and open to the public.

Paul Terrell Exhibit: Miles of Isles

In July the Dare Arts Vault Gallery will feature original sculptures by Virginia artist Paul Terrell. This series of works were inspired from watercolor, ink and Conti crayon studies made in Paul's art journals during a recent cruise of the British Isles. Through these mixed media works, Paul is exploring the visual impact of water, sky, and land.

Discover what life can be discovered within the Roanoke Sound.  Give a park ranger a helping hand with seining the sound.  A clear touch tup will give you a close-up view of the critters we catch.  Extra nets will be available for our young explorers.  This activity will be taking place in the water close to the shoreline, so be prepared for a wet experience!  Afterwards, participants will receive an official Jockey's Ridge State Park Soundside Explorers member card.  Get out, get wet, and enjoy summer! The Lost Colony 2025

Come see Paul Green’s epic tale to life with exciting battles, beautiful choreography, evocative lighting, spectacular projections and incredible puppetry. Enjoy the story of Sir Walter Raleigh’s final expedition to the New World and the 117 men, women and children who disappeared into mystery. The Lost Colony show will run from May 29 - Aug 23, 2025 Monday - Saturdays, 8:30 pm.

House opens at 7:30 with the concessions, gift shop and rest rooms open.  Seating begins at 8 PM.

Dynamic Flow Fitness Workout

Dynamic Flow on the Green will takes place on THURSDAY mornings at 7:30 am - 8:15 am. Dynamic Flow on the Green with the OBX Fit takes place in person as well as live streamed on Facebook. Dynamic Flow is a natural, practical, and playful calisthenics workout for the amateur and athletes. This is a family friendly and FREE event. In the event of lightning, class will be live streamed only.

Come to the Duck Town Hall from 9:30 am - 10:30 am on Thursdays June 5- August 28 for Story Time & Chalk Art
Dates EXCLUDE June 26, July 17, August 7. This event is FREE and open to the public. It is appropriate for children up to age 10.

Start the day with Story Time and follow up with some Chalk Art Fun. Chalk is provided. All you need to bring is your creativity. The event starts on the steps of the Paul F. Keller Meeting Hall with stories. Then head over to the Town Hall where you can show off your best chalk skills on the sidewalk squares around the building.
