The Outer Banks History Center, Manteo Preservation Trust, and Downtown Books invites the public to a special discussion and reception in honor of the reissue of Manteo: A Roanoke Island Town, the seminal history of Manteo by local author Angel Ellis Khoury. The event will take place on Thursday, February 6 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Veterans Hall, College of the Albemarle, in Manteo. The evening will feature a discussion with Khoury, followed by a reception where attendees can mingle, enjoy refreshments, and get a signed copy of the book.
