OBX Brewtag 2025

Get ready for winged kegs and big laughs at the 8th Annual OBX Brewtag, happening Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Soundside Event Site. Modeled after the Red Bull Flugtag, this quirky, fun-loving fundraiser challenges teams to launch and “fly” empty 1⁄6 keg barrels as far as possible—all in the name of flight, beer, and community. Beyond the competition, there’s beer sampling, music, vendors, and plenty of spectator excitement. Net proceeds support the Rogallo Foundation, which preserves the aviation legacy of the Rogallos and is working toward building a museum on the Outer Banks. Free admission for everyone. To participate as a team the cost is $150. Registration required for participation.
