Kelly’s 35th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Nags HeadGet ready to wear your green for one of the Outer Banks’ most beloved spring traditions! The 35th Annual Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place Sunday, March 15 at 1:00 PM along the Beach Road in Nags Head. The festive parade begins at Bladen Street (MP 11.5) and travels north to Driftwood Street on Virginia Dare Trail.
Drawing thousands of spectators and more than 100 parade entrants each year, this lively community celebration features colorful floats, marching bands, local groups, and plenty of Irish-inspired fun for all ages. Families line the route early to catch candy, beads, and the excitement of one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in eastern North Carolina.
Admission is free, so grab a beach chair, bring the family, and enjoy an afternoon of music, creativity, and community spirit along the OBX shoreline.
