“From the Sound to the Sea” Documentary Premiere at Pioneer Theater

The Pioneer Theater 113 Budleigh Street, Manteo

A special one-night premiere of the short documentary “From the Sound to the Sea” will take place on Friday, May 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the historic Pioneer Theater in Manteo. The film explores the mission of the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and the ongoing effort to protect the Outer Banks’ wild Banker horses amid increasing tourism and development pressures. The evening includes the film screening followed by a panel discussion with herd manager Meg Puckett, Corolla Wild Horse Fund CEO Chris Winter, and filmmakers from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Tickets are $13, with a portion of proceeds supporting the preservation of the Corolla wild horse herd.
