    On Monday, December 1, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse marks its 150th Anniversary with a full day of festivities. Enjoy free lighthouse climbs from 11 AM to 4 PM (donations welcomed), then stay for a special Anniversary Celebration from 4–5 PM featuring speeches, sparklers, cake, and a champagne toast to another 150 years of guiding light. This free, rain-or-shine event is the perfect chance to gather with friends and celebrate a shining Outer Banks landmark.
