    Celebrate the arrival of spring on the Outer Banks at the Fly Into Spring April 3-4, 2026, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM at Jockey's Ridge State Park. Hosted by Kitty Hawk Kites, this free, family-friendly event fills the sky with colorful kites soaring above the tallest living sand dune system on the East Coast.

    Visitors can watch giant show kites dancing over the dunes, join in kite flying, and family activities.
