Come to the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head for a one-of-a-kind holiday market experience!  Featuring photos with Santa Claus, an appearance (or two) from the Grinch, a live camp fire to keep your hands and toes warm, Christmas tunes to sing along to, food trucks AND 60+ of our favorite Outer Banks local makers and artisans, we will truly have a little something for everybody. Get all of your holiday shopping done in one place and share a little holiday spirit! This event occurs Sunday Nov 24, Dec 1, and Dec 15 from noon until 4 pm.

8th Annual Outer Banks Brewtag 2024

The 8th Annual Outer Banks Brewtag will take place at the Soundside Event Site on October 26th, 2024 from 11 am - 5:30 pm. This one-of-a-kind event, inspired by Red Bull Flugtag, invites teams and individuals to compete by launching and flying a 1/6 keg barrel the farthest. Admission to the event is FREE to the general public. A rather crafty selection of local and regional beer and food will be available for purchase that day. This family-friendly event. Bring the whole family for a day of fun, with a dedicated Kid Zone filled with activities and our exciting BOOTAG Halloween Costume Contest for the little ones. Plus, the event is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the festivities! 

Outer Banks Seafood Festival 2024

The 2024 Outer Banks Seafood Festival has become one of the highlights of the fall season, with plenty of fresh seafood, storytelling, vendors, music, and activities to keep everyone in the family entertained. This all-day event takes place at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head, and is a family-friendly outing that will make anyone fall in love with the Outer Banks and its culinary cuisine.

General Admission for anyone 13 and over is $20. Children 12 & under are FREE. General admission tickets include $10 in Beverage/Merchandise Bucks good for the purchase of beverages and festival merchandise. Additional “beverage bucks” may be purchased at the event.
