Kayak the Sound at Jockey’s Ridge

Location: Jockey’s Ridge State Park Soundside Access, 330 W. Soundside Road, Nags Head
Ages: 8 and older; preregistration required
Join Ranger Austin for a guided paddle on the Roanoke Sound. Discover the aquatic side of Jockey’s Ridge while learning about the park’s ecology and natural and cultural history.
Equipment and instruction are provided. Children younger than 13 must paddle with an adult age 18 or older. Arrive at least 10 minutes early.
