Dare Days is a Town-Sponsored special event showcasing and celebrating this community, its diverse culture, and rich history over two days in two different locations to enjoy! Attendance is Free!

Dare Days 2024 will kick off on Saturday, June 1st and will be held from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in downtown Manteo.  Family and friends can enjoy a variety of craft and food vendors, music, live entertainment, lawn games, and a great kid’s zone complete with fun rides, obstacle course, and activities.   Shop and dine at the many local shops and restaurants throughout the day and all weekend!

But wait, there was MORE!  Family, friends, smiles, giggles, and wiggles will continue on Sunday, June 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with a gospel concert at Cartwright Park on Sir Walter Raleigh Street.  Sip on old-fashioned lemonade, relax and enjoy a wide array of music provided by our local churches and other groups.  It will be quite a delight!

Dare Days 2024 is all about celebrating and connecting communities at the grass roots level in order to share our wonderful and diverse culture and rich history through this very special event. Dare Days 2024 will be an eventFUL weekend to kick off the summer!
