The Fourth of July is an exciting day in Manteo! The streets downtown are full of families, neighbors and visitors alike joining in the festivities celebrating Independence Day. The fun begins in the afternoon in front of the Dare County Arts Council. There will be family games and activities, Independence Day trivia, decorated bike contest, food, and more! Following this is a concert at Roanoke Island Festival Park. The concert is free and open to the public! The concert will conclude with fireworks at dusk provided by the Town of Manteo!
