Their tireless love and support make us laugh…take us on wild adventures…not to mention how good they are at keeping our secrets! But sometimes, pets and their humans need our help. This art show is created to help cuddly pets stay with their humans in hard times. With the Animals in Art Show, together we can make a difference. This amazing event is for animal lovers everywhere! …and now is the time you too can help pets and pet owners stay together through hard times by buying art in this show! These beautiful pieces are ready for a welcoming fur-ever home now.

Theatre Winter Workshop: One-On-One Monologue Sessions

Theatre of Dare 3848 N. Croatan Highway, Kitty Hawk, United States

These specialized sessions help to guide older students in selecting roles that match their talents. Participants will receive original monologues, one comedic and one dramatic, written and tailored just for them. With focus on mastering the pieces, paying close attention to beats, timing, volume, and other essential skills required for a successful audition.

This workshop is for students in Six through Twelfth grades. The workshop includes six sessions, per student, beginning January 6 through February 14. Participants, and their families, will be able to schedule hour-long sessions that best suit their schedules.

Tryouts for Outer Banks Got Talent

The Pioneer Theater 113 Budleigh Street, Manteo, United States

Don't miss your chance to shine! Register for a chance to become the next OBX Got Talent champion! Singers(individual, duo or trio), musicians, songwriters, or combination of these. No full bands at this time. Participants that submitted an entry form along with a 1 minute audition video clip will be contacted with a scheduled time to perform for live tryouts beginning 10 am on Saturday, January 11 at 109 Budleigh Street, Manteo, NC 27954. Tryouts are closed to the public and only open to contestants. If under the age of 18 years or older, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times to participate.

Live Tryouts: January 11 starting at 10am

Round 1: February 1 at 7pm

Round 2: March 1 at 7pm Finale: April 5 at 7pm
