The 47th Annual Frank Stick Memorial Art Show will open at Dare Arts on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 6pm with an opening reception from 6-8pm at Dare Arts. The show will remain open during normal gallery hours Tuesday - Saturday from February 8 to March 1 from 10 am - 5 pm (T-F) and 10am - 4 pm on Saturdays. Theatre Winter Workshop: One-On-One Monologue Sessions

Theatre of Dare 3848 N. Croatan Highway, Kitty Hawk, United States

These specialized sessions help to guide older students in selecting roles that match their talents. Participants will receive original monologues, one comedic and one dramatic, written and tailored just for them. With focus on mastering the pieces, paying close attention to beats, timing, volume, and other essential skills required for a successful audition.

This workshop is for students in Six through Twelfth grades. The workshop includes six sessions, per student, beginning January 6 through February 14. Participants, and their families, will be able to schedule hour-long sessions that best suit their schedules.

Get your theatre skills on point!! Using masks from London's renowned Trestle Theatre, students will explore the power of movement, non-verbal interaction, and silent storytelling. This intensive focuses on the importance of body language in the performing arts!

This workshop is for children in grades Sixth through Twelfth. It occurs every Wednesday, January 8 - February 12, 4:00-5:00pm.
