Secotan Market in Wanchese is a producer-only market featuring fresh produce, vegetable ferments, kombucha, pasture-raised meat & eggs, pecans, mushroom products, pastries, pies, cakes, jams, pickles, honey, medicinal products, flowers, herbs, spices, teas, potted plants, natural skin care, rotating artisans and so much more. Our family of producers join each market in person to share food and goods that they have grown or crafted themselves, here in Northeastern North Carolina. We are deeply committed to honesty and sustainability in our practices. Winter Season Markets are every first and third Saturday of the month December - April 5 from 9am -12pm.
Savor the small town charm of winter markets at Dowdy Park. Come out for fresh produce, meats, bread, seafood, cheese, and delicious wintertime bites! Held under the pavilion. Double check, in case of inclement weather conditions. All markets take place from 9 am - 12 pm.

Come to Roanoke Island Festival Park on select nights for the Bluegrass Island Nights concert series. OnĀ from 7 - 9 pm, enjoy the music of ShadowGrass. With their fast picking and fresh arrangements, ShadowGrass is moving forward in the bluegrass genre by incorporating each memberās varied influences into a fresh project that branches outside the bounds of traditional music while maintaining traditional instrumentation. Doors open for each show at 6:30PM and the show starts at 7:00PM. Refreshments will be available for purchase including beer, wine, and snacks. Seating is limited to only 250 people. Tickets can be purchased online at the event website.
